Land at former Hill Top Farm, Chesterfield Road, New Houghton

LOCATION

The land is on the north side of Mansfield Road A617 midway between Green Lane which is the first road on the right from New Houghton to Glapwell.

DESCRIPTION

There is an access track from the A617 which leads to the site of the former Hilltop Farm. The bungalow and all the buildings have been demolished but the concrete bases are still in situ. The site of the farmstead is now covered with self set trees.

The extent of the site is edged red on the attached plan from which you will see that there is ample room to put a new road up to the site.

We are led to believe the site had planning consent at one stage for redevelopment but prospective purchasers should make their own enquiries to Bolsover District Council to ascertain whether the planning consent is still valid.
